All cell phones remain OFF all day. They are dropped into a basket on the parent desk by the parent. Phones are only used with Mr. Brunner’s permission and only for emergencies (this does not include asking parents to bring lunch from McDonalds).
Text messaging is not allowed. Phones are used in the presence of a parent helper.
There is a sign-in sheet for cell phones. The parent who signs the student in at the beginning of the day also signs the sheet for the cell phone. At the end of the day, the parent who picks up the student signs out the cell phone. Plus each cell phone must have an identifying mark such as an address label.
There are no electronic devices allowed at SHCC at any time. All “i-things,” etc. must be left at home. They will be confiscated. Laptop computers must be left at home.
