Generally, SHCC takes no snow days. During the February blizzard of 2011, SHCC closed one day for the first time in its 13 year history. Parents must plan to arrive 15 minutes earlier than their normal drop-off times on snowy days. Snow shovels/brooms are available for student use to clear the entry steps.
